my current drama binge
so i recently-ish and finally got back into j-dramas ...!
i kinda fell off earlier this year after finishing "No.1 Sentai
Gozyuger" [i know it's a sentai so kinda not in the same
faction, but still-], and i couldn't bring myself to start,
finish, or watch anything else up until last month! i've been
struggling with that a lot this year, just starting / picking up
things from where i left off, even if i did really enjoy it, and
i still do... anyways!
it started off with me binging a drama called "Toki Sudeni
Osushi?!" because my oshi was in it-- he ended up being the main
characters son, but nevertheless, it was still a lovely watch,
and the drama itself is currently top 3...? japanese dramas ive
watched so far :3.
anyways back to the drama, this is how i got to the clip
above... the second main character was someone called Ooedo
Umiya, the main character's sushi chef... instructor guy. i
thought the character was hilarious and quite cute, the more i
watched the episodes the more i found myself wanting to watch
for his charisma and the story, with the added bonus of getting
to see my oshi of course hehe :>
after i finished it i did the classic "oh what else has he been
in actually...?", and to my DELIGHT, he's been in so so so many
dramas and movies over the years, so i decided to dive straight
in with 2-3 that caught my eye. and boy i was not ready for
where that would take me.
the clip above is from a drama called "Sexy Voice and Robo",
released in 2007... so i went onto my site to see if it was on
there- wasnt. went onto the next site- also wasnt. onto
youtube...! 3 episodes in parts that had severe cuts.
so i took myself to nyaa... and found a torrent with ONE seeder.
needless to say i was already way too far along to give up, i
let it download for 2 days straight, resulting in me leaving my
pc on all night for the first time since i've owned it lmao (i
believe in turning it off, sorry. electricity isnt cheap.. not a
new pc owner or anything).
anyways, the drama is really good so far, im enjoying it !! it's
a comedy, but it seems like every episode has some sort of
heartfelt ending, so it feels pretty nice to watch even when it
isn't being funny. [and holy moly Matsuyama is hot. sorry.] it's
also kinda... i understand bro. he's a "robo [redacted] loving
otaku"
notice how im leaving out one thing
and yo the amount of figures and manga he had in his room? fairs
man he's the goat. i know most people actually know his face
from the Death Note movie, but i'm yet to watch hahaa.... i'll
get there, since i also downloaded that. :3
a clip from said drama... he's such a good actor i love him
dearly, and i cant wait for his new one !!!!! i haven't seen
him in anything like it yet, so im excited :3
also let me just say he looks soooo much better with a lil
meat on his bones like!!! hes tall as shit, and in "i hear
the sunspots" and "saitama no host", he was kinda skinnier,
but i think the weight looks really good on him :P it
obviously isnt much or anything, but it makes his smile look
sm cuter, his dimples pop!
im a disgusting perv btw, his crying voice got a me a
lil. anyways.
i reccomend this drama !! a genuine good watch :)
and now.. im watching "Themis no Futashikana Hotei", a drama about a man with ASD and ADHD navigating his world whilst being a laywer! it's a really good watch so far, and once more, Matsuyama-san... insane actor. and you may ask, are you watching that at the same time as the other drama?!?! YES!!! I DONT WANT THEM TO END !!!! sigh. another clip from it, i want to protect him deeply, seriously, need to deal with some of the people in this drama. (some being ONE.)
again, not even needing to say, i'm enjoying this one too :3
i think that's all from me. . . but hey, +1 oshi, and i'm
over the moon... he's such a good actor.. and isn't it
insane that he's barely aged since all the way back then???
