i aged up! :3 (22nd)

so it was my birthday the other day, i turned 22...! kind of scary to be honest, i still feel 16.
i ended up going to this arcade for the first time with a few of my friends, it was actually pretty fun and i'm excited to go back eventually (despite it being in CROYDON.)
i will be putting videos and photos below :3 i dont think there's anyway for me to say this without sounding somewhat depressed, but i did start off my day very upset. i couldn't actually pinpoint why, but for the past few birthdays i've just ended up feeling awful, even if i was doing something later that day, or just staying at home (like i had to a few years ago).
but to be honest, it was because it felt like everything was going wrong at the exact moment it wasn;t supposed to. one of my friends couldn't come, another was going to be late, and then another said she was going to be late too. i genuinely felt like exploding, and i couldn't help but feel like "why is it always on my birthday, never anybody elses?". that sounds selfish too, but it's true.
and to be truthful, it kinda felt like my other friends didn't even remember that it was my birthday... i know i probably shouldn't even care about it at my age, but i've always felt like birthdays were really special. hm.
i ended up crying like 3 times before i left the house, i was just really upset and overwhelemed to be honest... i would have even cancelled the whole day if the overwhelming feeling of wanting to try out maimai for the first time didn't exist lol.
so i ended up going anyways, and i had fun regardless. ^_^ now i'm not saying this is going to stop these thoughts i have of being a complete faliure at 22 considering im the only one out of my friends that decided not to go to uni, let alone being jobless... amongst other things... but it puts the thoughts on hold for a while lol.
anyways! i love playing taiko irl it's so much more fun that it is compared to playing it in osu!, and the actual project diva machine was insane to play on..
oh and they also had this luigi's mansion machine?? it was so insane they had the vaccum's and all sorts. oh and there was an 'after burner climax' game, that i realised is what the Bayonetta minigame is based of... you really learn something new everyday (or if you leave the house. there's that too.)
